The Coke Can is Funny

You know it is truly a bad sign when you loose the web address to your own blog, even worse when you can't remember the log in information.

Although I have been posting here and there on a variety of various boards and blogs and e-mail and such, this page has failed to do anything that I set out for it to do. So we will have to fix that.

The plan, such as it is, is to route all my future comments, ideas, posts, and other information through this blog. Let's see if that actually happens.

It may wind up as an odd sort of crossroads. I tend to keep company (if that is even the word for cyberspace) with lots of very different groups of people. I have found that my FaceBook page has to balance on a very tight edge, as I have friends and family from a variety of different points in my life converging.

Since this blog will take pieces from all the different areas of my life I may finally see a complete picture of what my years of experience have produced. This may turn into a neat experiment after all.

I have also located a bunch of old journals. I realized that they are horribly incomplete and hard to read after all these years. I hope to go through them and re-type them here. Expanding and adding commentary to them before my mind fails altogether and I no longer remember what I was writing about.

If I was keeping track, which I’m not, I would say that this was my 3^rd of 4^th attempt at maintaining a running Blog.

 

Yes, there is a story behind the blog title. There are maybe two people other than myself who know what it means. The short version is that it is a reminder that there comes a point when you are so out of it that even the most mundane things appear funny, because they are. Stripped of all its structure, life is very funny. Seriousness only creeps in when you add context.

 

Since we are beginning again and due to the relative distance to New Year’s it is only appropriate that we announce our RESOLUTIONS

First, Loose the gut. Dropping about 100# should do it.

Second, Regain Temple Recommend. If you know what that is then you know what that means, if you don’t than you don’t so don’t worry.

Third, Get Published. As much as I may miss it, 2009 I will be suspending my EVE Online subscription and returning to my unfinished Novel. I will gladly send chapters to any who want to read, edit, and critique it. It is a work in progress. My old online writers group appears to have vanished so serious readers are welcome.

As time goes on I will add things to the Blog. I’ve seen others that are all decked out with music and pictures and such.
